Hiring an Account Manager who will be responsible for sales in Tarrant County

Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to cover a geographic area for the client and represent the client in a professional manner. If done well, the representative will create a plan and itinerary to prospect sales to new and existing customers within the territory. The representative should build a pipeline of pending business equal to or greater than 4-5 times the expected sales per month. Once done, the rep is responsible for the successful sales and support of a defined sales volume per month.
The essential duties for the success of this position are:
- 50% Prospecting new and current customers for sales opportunities
- This would only involve direct contact via phone or in person with a prospective customer. This would also involve the demonstration of the product, data acquisition from customers and the closing/installation of the product.
- 30% Preparation and planning
- This would involve the building of knowledge and prospect list in order to organize the time prospecting. This would also involve the preparation of proposals and customer information.
- 5% The support and input of the internal client required documents, reports and procedures
- This involves the sales reports, database input, administrative reports, and HR documents.
- 5% The consistent training of product knowledge and feature application
- 10% The maintenance and support of client customers
- This involves handling and following through on customer requests and issues.
